Eid Al-Adha Mubarak – Celebrating as One Ummah

“In the name of Allah, the most Merciful and Most Compassionate.”

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam,

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

As we approach the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Adha, ICNE (Islamic Council of New England) wishes you all a joyful and peaceful celebration. This Eid is not just a time of festivity, but a moment for all of us to reflect on the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and compassion that Islam teaches us.

Eid Al-Adha reminds us of the importance of coming together as one Ummah. Regardless of where we are from, we are all bound by the shared values of faith, brotherhood, and service to Allah (SWT). Let us celebrate this Eid with a collective spirit, embracing the opportunity to strengthen our bonds and support one another in every way we can.

As we enjoy the blessings of this day, let us also remember the less privileged members of our society. Many around the world—and even in our own communities—are facing challenges, whether due to poverty, conflicts, natural disasters, or other hardships. ICNE urges you to extend your kindness and generosity to those in need. Whether through the Qurbani (sacrifice), charity, or simply offering a helping hand, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

May this Eid bring peace, prosperity, and an abundance of blessings to you and your loved ones. May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, our sacrifices, and our good deeds. Let’s celebrate together, not just in the act of worship, but in our shared commitment to a just and compassionate society.

Eid Mubarak to you all!

Warm regards,
Imran Haq Nawaz
President
